Summary
Our client is a busy Manufacturing company based in Droitwich and they are looking for an experienced metal worker.
Job Title: Metal worker
Location: Droitwich
Shift: Day: 7.30 till 16.30 Monday to Thursday 7.30 till 15.30 Friday
Pay Rate: £12.50 Ph
loads of overtime first 6 hours paid at x1.3 anything after will be x1.5
Duration: straight permanent position
Day to Day Duties
Prime responsibility is to produce all the materials needed for the welding/fabrications department, working from drawings.
* Setting and operating saws cutting steel to size.
* Using drills to drill holes in steel.
* Working from engineering drawings and cut lists
* Using overhead crane to move parts around the factory
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience
* Previous experience working with saws
* Experience working with drills
* Experience working with engineering drawings and cut lists
* Experience setting machines
* Experience using overhead cranes
Manufacturing Workforce are responsible for placing skilled and in demand people on both a permanent and contract basis into the Engineering, Technical and Manufacturing sectors, from skilled Shop Floor Personnel and Specialist Engineers to Supervisory and Management positions.
