Salary:Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 2 (aligned with AFC)£22,383 pro rata, per annum + enhancements Hours/Contract:Part time 27 hours per week or As and When Based:Wakefield Community within a 25 mile radius of your home Closing date:3rd June 2024 Interview date:TBC As a Healthcare Assistant with our community-based team in Wakefield, you'll be supporting patients and families in their time of greatest need. We provide free specialist palliative care and support to patients with life limiting illness whilst offering vital emotional support for their families. Working without close supervision, you'll have the opportunity to use your own initiative in line with the patient's established care plan. You'll be required to carry out a range of care duties including helping patients meet their hygiene needs, monitoring symptoms, assisting with medications and keeping detailed records and emotional support to the patient and their families.
