Summary
Operate Laundry Equipment:
Efficiently manage the operation of washing machines, dryers, and the large ironer to process linens and towels.
Quality Control:
Ensure all items are cleaned and pressed to the highest standard, conducting spot checks for quality assurance.
Sort and Organise Laundry:
Accurately sort laundry by type and treatment needs, prioritizing items for a quick turnaround.
Stain Treatment:
Apply appropriate treatment to stained linens and garments to restore them without damage.
Inventory Management:
Keep track of linen inventory, noting any items that need repair or replacement.
Maintain a Clean Workspace:
Ensure the laundry area is clean and organized, adhering to health and safety standards.
Efficient Workflow Management:
Work effectively to manage laundry loads in a timely manner, ensuring a continuous supply of clean linens and towels to meet hotel needs.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with housekeeping and hotel staff to address any specific laundry or linen requests.
