Summary

SALARY: £29,269 - £33,024 pro rata + Excellent Benefits

LOCATION: Hybrid role – working part from home and part from the office in Wokingham – occasional requirements to be at courses delivered at a variety of venues across Wokingham Borough

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, 9 Month Fixed Term Contract

WORKING HOURS: 37 hours per week (Part-Time hours will also be considered)


JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Project Coordinator / Skills Course Administrator with excellent administrative, communication and organisational skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Working as the Project Coordinator / Skills Course Administrator you will join a friendly team and help deliver an innovative new numeracy project which is aimed at helping adults to improve their ability to understand and use maths in daily life.

As the Project Coordinator / Skills Course Administrator you will arrange maths-based courses in the community and with employers. This will include marketing, venue bookings, communication with learners and tutors and data recording. You will also engage with target learners to encourage and enable them to access provision.


DUTIES

Your duties as the Project Coordinator / Skills Course Administrator include:

• Co-ordinate and manage the Multiply programme and supporting the delivery of courses

• Work with a range of existing partners across the Borough and identify and create new partnerships with schools, community organisations, employers and opportunity providers, the voluntary and community sector, local colleges and opportunity providers to develop and implement maths courses to improve adult numeracy

• Develop and maintain a positive relationship with learners, employers, partners and stakeholders


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• English and Maths qualification at level 2 or above (GCSE 4 or C Functional Skills level 2)

• Excellent administrative, communication and organisation skills

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across a wide and diverse range of stakeholders

• Understanding of the barriers which can prevent adult learners from engaging in lifelong learning and how to overcome these with engagement activities
