Summary


Thank you for your interest in this exciting position of Clinical Team Leader (CTL) for our Mental Health Acute Wards in Hammersmith and Fulham mental health unit, we currently have vacancies on our male PICU. This role is an exciting and challenging opportunity for the right candidate. You will be required to demonstrate excellent communication skills while providing first line advice, support, and information to a wide range of patients that are in the acute phase of a mental health crisis. The post holder will provide support when someone, both known to services and unknown comes to the unit.

You will need to have important nursing assessment skills, knowledge of the legal frameworks that inform acute mental health care, an understanding of mental health diagnosis and a well-informed understanding of psychosocial interventions.

Our professional and multi-disciplinary staff group whose ability to intercede on behalf of patients across all levels of healthcare is nurtured and respected. • To provide support and supervision to a group of nursing staff
• To develop and maintain communication with individuals or groups of patients, carers and staff, about difficult or complex matters, overcoming any problems in communication in different situations.

• To promote, monitor and maintain best practice in health, safety and security of self and others in own work area.
• To appraise, interpret and apply suggestions, recommendations and directives to improve services.
• To contribute to quality improvement.

• To contribute to promoting health and well-being and preventing adverse effects on health and well-being.
• To assess complex health and well-being needs and develop, monitor and review care-plans to meet those needs.
