Summary
Step Teachers are currently looking for a qualified Science Teacher for a school in Norwich starting in September 2024 for a long-term role which could become permanent.
This school is a “Good” Ofsted-rated school who have happy and proud students. The leaders aim to develop well-rounded citizens and receive teaching that will enable them to succeed in life. Behaviour at the school is good, and the quality of education that the students receive is also good. The school also has a sixth form onsite as well.
Role of a Science Teacher:
- Good knowledge of the science curriculum at all key stages plus experience of teaching at A-Level is highly desirable.
- Maintain an organised and professional classroom with all the associated resources.
- Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school.
- As a Science Teacher, you must have the ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.
Requirements of Science Teacher:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in secondary school.
- Experiences as as Science Teacher in Uk- based school.
- A relevant science-related degree is desirable.
- SEND experience is also desirable.
