The role

As a Proposal Writer, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality written proposals for strategic, technical, and complex bids. Leveraging your experience in proposal writing, you will collaborate with subject matter experts and proposal managers to create storyboards, drafts, and final submissions.

Day-to-day, you will facilitate the storyboarding process, producing compelling and impactful storyboards and mock-ups that effectively incorporate win themes. You will work closely with dedicated specialists to develop bid content through various techniques, including one-on-one interviews and workshops. You will also ensure that mock-ups and response documents clearly articulate features, benefits, and the value to the customer. Furthermore, you will align written proposals with the requirements and guiding policies set by the proposal strategy. Additionally, you will:

  • Prepare mock-ups and full drafts for pink and red team review processes
  • Undertake the final editing, proofreading, and formatting of proposal documents
  • Ensure written proposals align to the requirements and guiding policy set by the proposal strategy

This full-time role (37 hours per week) offers remote working arrangement. Flexibility within this role is respected and can be discussed further.

Essential experience of the Proposal Writer

  • Experience of proposal writing on bids

Qualifications for the Proposal Writer
It is ideal, but not essential, for you to have:

  • Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) qualification
  • Educated to degree level

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
