Summary
Role
We are looking for personal assistant to help a 10-year-old male who is looking for a companion to do activities with. He enjoys trampolining and getting out of the house. May take time to establish a relationship due to having Autism, ADHD, TICs and foetal alcohol. He benefits from someone supervising his safety when out. He is touch sensitive so being aware of how to approach him and support him is key to a good working relationship.
Applicants must have a caring attitude, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. Having experience within this area would be of benefit.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Accompaniment to activities.
· Social activity assistance.
· Suggesting ideas.
Driver preferred and experience with supporting people with Autism would be an advantage.
Member of the PVG Membership Scheme or a willingness to have a PVG Check Undertaken.
