Summary
Core Group are pleased to offer the position of Mechanical Estimator MEP for the right candidate based in Derby or surrounding areas.
We are looking for a Mechanical Estimator to join our growing clients business, a multi-disciplinary award winning company that excels in the delivery of schemes across various sectors including Healthcare, Education, Fit Out and Commercial.
Typical projects range from £2m-£10m (MEP value).
Must be able to commute to Oxford when needed.
Paying £40,000 - £80,000 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.
As a Mechanical Estimator within the construction industry, you will:
• Day to day organisation of incoming tenders
• Support and interrogation of all project specific requirements
• Liase with Key suppliers and clients when compiling tender
• Carry out take off's and quantify raw materials etc.
• Resolve queries or discrepancies on customer enquiries
• Maintain customer relationships, organise and attend pre and post tender meetings
• Assist with administration of other key business operations

• Have good communication skills
• Conversant with Microsoft Packages
