Summary


We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic, professional individuals to come and work with our amazing District Nursing Teams across Poole area to support the health of our community.

We have various roles full and part-time post in Poole Central covering Upton, Oakdale, Poole town and surrounding areas.

Looking for Full time of 37.5hrs. 30 hours can be considered.

As a community staff nurse you will be providing nursing care to patient in their own home. We provide a wide and varied level of care to patient in their home. This means we have highly skilled workforce, successful candidates will be supported with upskilling and training.

There will be an expectation for the successful candidates to work weekends, late shifts and bank holidays pro rata. Our late shift covers until 8pm.

With excellent links to local universities, the training and development we are able to offer is first class, allowing rapid upskilling and support with new skills. Newly qualified staff will have access to a preceptorship program and a specific clinical upskilling program to support their transition from student to RGN.

We would welcome applications from newly qualified nurses and we provide a very comprehensive and fully supported Preceptorship Programme for newly qualified healthcare professionals.

The successful individual, subject to the provisions of the Equality Act, must be able to travel using own vehicle on Trust business.

To provide a high quality person centred approach to care delivery which always considers people's safety, privacy and dignity.

To undertake assessment of patients / service users care needs and develop programmes of care as part of the wider multi-disciplinary care team.

To provide advice to patients/ service users and carers regarding their care. To plan, implement and review health improvement programmes in a range of settings.

To provide supervision, mentorship, and clinical support to students and junior staff in the team.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
