Summary
Location: Angel St, Northampton NN1 1ED / 1-2 days in the office
Duration of assignment: Looking for temporary to permanent any time after 12 weeks
Working hours: 37 hours Monday to Friday
Rate: £20- £30 per hour umbrella £15.38 - £23.08 PAYE / £36,736-£39,278 permanent salary
IR35 status: Inside IR35

Job Description:
Brief duties/ key responsibilities
• Support development and consultation on draft of the Local Transport Plan (a statutory document) by July 2024
• Support development of Northampton Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan by September 2024 and its consultation.
• Lead on development of smaller projects/ studies including walking and cycling corridors
• Support putting together a submission for the recently announced Local Transport Fund.
• Support the development of the rebuild of the Northamptonshire Strategic Transport Model
Key experience
• Professional with transport planning or policy experience
• Knowledge of current transport planning policy practice and transport project development
• Project delivery
• Working as part of a team
• Project management skills
• Experience in strategy writing and public consultation
