Summary
Job description:
The Product Manager handles product planning, delivery, and marketing throughout the product lifecycle, develops a vision and roadmap based on input from various sources, and works closely with development and other teams to deliver high-quality products meeting market needs.
Job Responsibilities:
-Developing a product forecast and managing delivery.
-Identifying product benefits and values to create and maintain marketing plans and materials.
-Defining product strategy and roadmap.
-Managing the product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.
-Collecting and managing requirements from stakeholders.
-Writing business cases for investments and securing internal approval.
-Proposing and delivering product marketing plans and budgets.
-Creating Product and Market Requirements documents.
-Assessing and establishing partnerships with stakeholders and third parties.
-Being the expert on the product, market, technology, and competition.
-Developing core product positioning and messaging.
-Performing product demos and building client relationships.
-Leading the virtual product team to achieve objectives.
-Setting pricing and monitoring product performance.
-Briefing analysts and the press.
-Running trials, MVPs, and go-to-market plans.
-Managing channel support and market research.
-Promoting products through sales training and other mechanisms.
-Providing training to technical sales support.
-Managing development and marketing projects.
-Collecting feedback from sales and customers.
-Representing the customer's voice in senior management meetings.
-Evangelizing the product internally and externally.
-Building relations with business stakeholders and providing regular forecasts for volume, revenue, and profit.
Education & Experience:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 05years of experience in product management, preferably in the industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing products through their lifecycle.
