Summary
Step Teachers are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic MFL Teacher with a passion for teaching both French and Spanish. This exciting opportunity is perfect for an experienced educator or a newly qualified teacher looking to make a significant impact in a vibrant secondary school in King’s Lynn. This is a long-term role starting in September, with the potential for permanent placement based on performance.
Key Responsibilities of MFL Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in French and Spanish to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.
- Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to enhance language acquisition and cultural appreciation.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support to facilitate improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive departmental team.
- Participate in school events, parent evenings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements of a MFL Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience as MFL Teacher teaching French and Spanish.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire a love for languages in students.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
