Summary
Knotter/Healder
I’m recruiting of behalf of my Client who are based in Huddersfield HD9 for experienced Textiles Knotter/Healder who are used to running looms producing fine cloth to join their highly successful business.
The role is offered on a rotating shift pattern of which due to working pattern/location flexibility can be discussed if using public transport.
Candidate Requirements
• Experience of Knotting/Healding
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Have a positive attitude to work
• Willingness to be flexible to undertake tasks within and outside of normal role when required to ensure wider goals
• Personal responsibility and ownership of role and the team
• Be a real Team Player
• Have good level of written and spoken English Language
Duties
• Operation of the automatic drawing-in machine
• Operation of the knotting machines
• Operation of the re-beaming machine
• Completing any documentation for logging faults & repairs on all machines and passing to the Team Leader
• Maintenance of reeds, healds, droppers and shafts
Hours of Work
Week 1 – Monday to Thursday 0600 – 1400, Friday 0600 – 1300
Week 2 – Monday to Thursday 1400 – 2200, Friday 1300 – 2000
Salary
An hourly payrate of between £11.44 - £13.00 will be offered based upon experience (a 12.5% shift allowance is also applicable).
