Summary
Children, Young Person and Family Worker
Full Time Monday to Friday
This role provides targeted and specialist interventions, based on the whole family approach to children, young people, parents, carers & families who have been affected by drug or alcohol use. We deliver specialist drug and alcohol support to young people at risk of or using substances enabling them to make informed choices and build resilience to substance use.
The successful candidate will work out in the community of Haringey and our base in Bromley Road N17 0AR.
Duties include but not limited too:
Manage a caseload of young people and families delivering substance misuse treatment
delivering assemblies at schools and training professionals in substance misuse
promoting the service on social media, creating webinars and Instagram posts
updating our case management system in a timely manner with case notes and information
delivering groups to young people about substance misuse and wellbeing issues
We are looking for candidates with previous caseload experience in drug and alcohol use. You will ideally have delivered interventions before and may have worked as a volunteer within a drug and alcohol service.
