Summary


Are you a skilled MSK clinician who is motivated and ready to lead others in our dynamic team aiming to improve MSK patient care in our city?

We are inviting applications for a rotational MSK B7 Physiotherapist. Our rotational posts offer experienced staff the opportunities to work across a wide range of clinical areas including: Outpatient trauma clinics (fracture clinic/virtual fracture clinic); Lower Limb; Spines; Shoulder-Elbow; Wrist and Hand; Rheumatology; Pain; Limb Reconstruction and Hydrotherapy. Staff request their choice of 12 month rotation based on professional development needs. Job plans are based on 80% clinical and 20% SPA time.

Band 7 staff are integral to staff and service development and must demonstrate compassionate and empowering leadership approach. All our B7 staff have a named B8a supervisor and will be supported with training identified in annual appraisal and PDP.

Our team are supported by Consultant Physiotherapists and Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners who drive both service and staff development in line with national initiatives. We have close links to the local universities and we are striving to increase research opportunities within the MSK team. Staff are required to work flexibly and respond to the changing needs of the service.

Training posts would be considered under Annex 21 AfC terms and conditions.

You will be required to deliver ahigh standard of clinical care and be responsible for ensuring robust governance processes and safe systems of work. You will play an active role in supporting the MSK leadership team with departmental improvement projects and ensure Trust HR policies are locally adhered to.
