We're looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant partner primary school located in the Nuneaton area. This highly rewarding role presents an opportunity to make a real contribution to the lives of children looking to make the best start in life. The school is looking for a teaching assistant to join them on a full-time basis ASAP, for the right candidate this can progress from long-term to permanent position.
As part of this role, you will be expected to:
- Assist in creating and adapting teaching resources and materials to meet the diverse learning needs of students in the class.
- Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and activities, including preparing materials, setting up equipment, and organizing the classroom environment.
- Plan and lead engaging interventions for Year 6 pupils and supporting them to achieve their key learning targets.
- Help maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or relevant degree.
- Have at least one year's experience supporting primary school pupils.
- Have experience leading group and 1:1 interventions.
