About the role
The purpose of this role is to attend and repair vehicle (bus) breakdowns on the road and any other duties that deem suitable by the engineering manager.
Key Accountabilities
-Attend and repair breakdowns
-Booking out parts when required
-Working within health and safety regulations
-Deliver a high standard of repair/temp repair to get bus back to depot
-Ensure an effective working relationship with staff
-Complete accurate breakdown records, keeping paperwork upto date and filled in correctly
-Carry out any other duties that may be deemed suitable by the engineering manager
About you
-Do you hold a valid UK driver's licence?
-Are you a UK resident?
-You do not have to hold a PCV licence, but that would be advantageous; we will help you obtain it if not.
-Do you hold an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanics or Vehicle Technician?
-do you have on the job experience?
