Warehouse Operations Supervisor - Woodston, Peterborough PE2
£30,000* per annum & excellent company benefits
Full-time, permanent 37.5 hrs/week - Monday to Friday 9-5
An exciting opportunity has arisen with JSDavidison, a growing temperature-controlled logistics organisation based in Woodston, Peterborough, for a full-time Warehouse Operation Warehouse Supervisor
Key Responsibilities include: - Warehouse Operations Supervisor - Woodston, Peterborough PE2
lead, motivate, supervise, and develop the operatives and leaders to ensure that they are effective both in terms of our policy and procedures and our commercial obligations to the customer.
Manage the day-to-day activities within the warehouse while being able to involve themselves in practical work on the warehouse floor as required.
Daily management of a team of operations team leaders, warehouse operatives, and agency staff on shift
To carry out any other reasonable management instruction to the expected standards which ultimately supports the business.
Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the roles: - Warehouse Operations Supervisor - Woodston, Peterborough PE2
Operational warehouse supervisory experience
ideally have experience with hygiene procedures, standards, and equipment in the chilled food industry
Able to demonstrate good people management skills, leading by example, and engaging with colleagues at all levels
Ability to handle pressure in a time-sensitive environment.
Computer literate and strong numeracy skills
DESIRABLE: Licence holder for MHE: Powered Pallet Truck.Counterbalance and Reach Truck.
