Summary

FM Conway is currently recruiting for an Assistant Programmer to join our prestigious Westminster contract. You will support the production and maintenance of programmes for the design and implementation of all works under the Westminster contract, including highways, street lighting, structures, drainage and design. This is a permanent, full-time position based from our London Victoria office.

The duties of the Assistant Programmer role will include:

-Supporting in the production and management of MS Projects programmes

-Producing detailed programmes and plans for construction phases of individual schemes and projects

-Supporting and updating all programmes to reflect all necessary contractual obligations and processes

-Providing assistance and supporting the delivery teams with works phasing, critical path analysis and mitigation

-Supporting the co-ordination of programmes from different work streams as well as reducing the potential for clashes and conflict

-Working with operational teams, ensuring efficient utilisation of resources and to identify where resource levels may need to be altered

-Producing schedules as required to be issued both internally and to the client and stakeholders for information purposes

-Providing support to the operational team with various administrative tasks ensuring the smooth delivery of projects

What skills and experience do you need?

We are looking for an Assistant Programmer who has experience in the highways and engineering. You will have experience using MS Projects programmes alongside excellent knowledge of NEC contracts. You will be a strong team player who is able to communicate effectively at all levels.
