Summary
Main Duties and Responsibilities The post holder will be responsible for effectively delivering skilled nursing care to patients attending for an Interventional Radiology procedure. Using a systemic approach of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating to ensure a high standard of care. The post holder will assist in the handover and discharge processes for patients in line with local procedures. They will assist before, during and after procedures - using their nursing skills to adequately monitor and manage sedated patients. They will assist consultants throughout intervention utilising good communication skills and provide support for patients and their families. They will also demonstrate excellent documentation within patient integrated care pathways and effective discharge planning. Maintain registration, and nursing competencies, and comply with NMC code of Professional Conduct and related documents. If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £41.90. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13.
