An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Women's and Children management Team.

The successful candidate will be expected to support with a wide range of project and transformation work within our paediatric services supporting the Operational Manager. You should have gained experience within a health service setting looking for an opportunity to develop your project management and leadership skills. This role requires values-based leadership.

Working closely with the Assistant Operational Manager & Clinical Teams for the specialties, the post holder is responsible for supporting the Operational Manager in the management of the Paediatric Transformation Project and other business activities of the service area to ensure delivery of its strategic and operational objectives in line with the Operational Delivery Plan and Accountability Agreement.

The post holder will work closely with the Assistant Operational Managers to ensure efficient and effective management of all resources in order to deliver safe, high quality and effective clinical services in an environment of continuous improvement.
• To support the Operational Manager with the Paediatric Improvement Project Board, supporting with project plans, improvement methodology and regular reporting structures.
• To work with the Assistant business manager to support delivery of Operational Outpatient targets
• To manage and maintain performance management systems to support delivery of the Operational Delivery Plan and Accountability Agreement for the service area.
• Through the analysis and interpretation of a wide range of complex information, to continuously monitor clinical and financial performance.
• To ensure that all information relating to the activity within the area of responsibility is recorded accurately and in a timely manner to enable performance to be continuously monitored.

The successful applicant will be working closely with other members of the Womens and Childrens Management leadership team to deliver a quality, patient-focused service.
