Summary
We are currently working with a Colchester-based SEND school. Children with behavioural, emotional, social, and mental health challenges, ages 10 to 16, attend this school. They are looking for confident individuals to join their team as learning support assistants, starting immediately.
Working at an incredible school with excellent facilities for both kids and staff will enable you to witness first-hand how these things inspire kids to reach their full potential and feel significant.
Boys who have been moved out of mainstream schools are specifically served by the school. In addition, there are kids in the school with attachment difficulties and kids on the autistic spectrum. Although it is not required, the ideal learning support assistant would have prior experience working with these needs. The school would be happy to speak with you if you are a compassionate and driven people who aspires to make the greatest difference in the lives of these children.
the suitable learning support assistant will have:
• Experience working in SEND setting
• Passionate about working with children who need additional support
• Excellent classroom management
• Experience supporting children in groups or 1:1
