Female Support Worker - Upper Parkstone

Full & Part-Time Roles Available

£12.19 per Hour

Full UK/EU Driving License Essential

Two ladies who Dimensions support at their supported living home in Upper Parkstone, Poole would like some new FemaleSupport Workers to join the team who enable them to live an independent life.

The ladies who are aged in their 20's-30's, are autistic/have learning disabilities. They would be happy to meet either full or part-time Female Support Workers who would like to get involved in activities such as:

- Going out for long drives (the journey is just as important as the destination)

- Visiting Bournemouth Oceanarium and going to zoo's

- Watching TV and telling stories

- Taking us out to meet new people

- Going out for meals in local pubs, cafes and restaurants

- Sensory activities in the house

One of the ladies uses a wheelchair to meet her mobility needs all the time, the other when out of the house but as you can see it doesn't stop them living an active life.

Shifts run 07.00-14.30 or 14.30-22.00. There are also long days available, and we need support workers to be able to work sleep in shifts. Dimensions can pay FemaleSupport Workers £12.19 per hour (Sleep in rate is £45 per night).

Support Workers may also have to assist with finances, meal preparation and prompt and assist the ladies with their personal care.

As the ladies we support have their own vehicles, it is essential that all Female Support Workers hold a full UK/EU Driving License.

Although you do not need previous experience for this role, as Dimensions provide full training (both theory and practical) to all Female Support Workers.
