Summary

Responsibility for the provision of reactive and proactive multi-site maintenance support to the Horizon portfolio of sites and properties
- Established skills in property maintenance
- Work independently or part of a team
- Health & Safety awareness, and safe working
- Willing to travel to multiple sites where needed
- Complete a range to maintenance/handyman works to a high standard

Ensuring that HC&EG has a safe and efficient working environment and infrastructure for its employees and their activities.

MAIN DUTIES
- Receive maintenance request from FM software, emails and phone
- Update FM software when required
- Travel to multiple sites as required
- React to urgent works in a timely manner
- Liaise with all stakeholders & Colleagues where appropriate
- Supervise external contractors when needed
- Show responsibility for a high level or finish to all works
- Work in a safe manner always
- Complete PPM tasks where required
- Ensure tools and parts used are of the required standard for use
- Record mileage and expenses
- Submit weekly credit receipts, invoices & delivery notes
- Maintain and regularly clean vehicle
- Be prepared to work irregular hours if required to complete tasks
- Any other duties relevant to the post as requested by the Senior Estates Manager or Director of Estates and Facilities

All employees are therefore, expected to work in a flexible way when the occasion arises so that tasks which are not specifically covered in the job description have to be undertaken. These additional duties will normally be to cover unforeseen circumstances or changes in work. If the additional responsibility or task becomes a regular of frequent part of the member of staff's job, it will be included in the job description in consultation with the member of staff.

Staff will be required to become proficient in behavioural management techniques including physical intervention. Horizon Care and Education will provide appropriate training.
