What are we looking for?

We are looking for people who share our passion for finding creative ways to ensure that the people we support have the opportunity to do what they love. As this service supports people in their own home, we want Relief Support Workers who are going to continue to build a fun and relaxed environment where everyone feels comfortable. Given the busy nature of the people we support, to be considered for this role you must have a full UK drivers licence. If you can combine these things with enthusiasm, empathy and a sense of humour you are good to go!

What will you be doing?

As part of a friendly and supportive team of Support Workers you will:

  • Help with jobs around the house
  • Accompany the people we support on trips
  • Provide active support
  • Encourage the people we support to try new things
  • Provide personal care

The service you will be working in supports 4 individuals with a range of needs including learning disabilities, mobility issues and acquired brain injury so you will need to adapt the support you provide depending on the individual.

Your rewards

In return for your dedication and hard work as a Support Worker, you will receive:

  • £12.00 per hour
  • Pension contribution
  • Access to free occupational health, physiotherapy, counselling and advice services
  • Fully paid training and access to nationally recognised qualifications
  • Travel to work scheme (season ticket loan)
  • Access to an online shopping platform with discounts from over 3,500 retailers
