An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to be part of our team.

You will provide comprehensive and effective administrative support for resuscitation training and other activities held in the Academy, and to support the Resuscitation Officers to prepare, maintain and organise resuscitation equipment and materials located across the Trust.

• Plan and book resuscitation training alongside the Resuscitation Services Manager, including registration on the Resuscitation Council UK website.
• Recruit Resuscitation Council UK accredited faculty to deliver advanced courses as appropriate to the course.
• Allocate places to staff on resuscitation and other courses, taking into account the criteria – at times complex - provided by the trainers and facilitators, and following Academy and Trust Policies
• Work closely with trainers, facilitators and others in providing full administrative support and co-ordination for all aspects of resuscitation training delivery and other events held in the Academy and the community.
• Work closely with education leads in Maternity, ED and Critical Care Outreach to provide full administrative support for running training courses as required.

Our STAR values – Service, Teamwork, Ambition and Respect – are a golden thread running through everything we do. These values serve as a guiding principle, driving us towards our vision of delivering great joined up services to our local community. Whether at home, in the community, or within the hospital, our goal is to empower individuals to lead independent and healthier lives.
• Order and maintain stocks of training equipment and materials as authorised by the Resuscitation Manager, check in deliveries and ensure store areas / resource rooms remain organised and accessible in line with health and safety requirements. Liaise with Procurement to manage stock issues arising from suspended lines etc as needed.
• Advise trainers regarding the operation and optimum use of manikins, prosthesis and sundry training aids and ensure these are maintained and in good working order.
• Alongside the Resuscitation Officers, check, maintain and replenish clinical resuscitation equipment throughout the Trust including resuscitation trolleys, resuscitation stock cupboard, emergency grab bags and defibrillators.
• Keep up to date and accurate records of financial information including collection course fees, payment to cashiers and issuing of receipts.
