The fitter's mate helps the fire sprinkler fitter with the installation of piping, valves, and other components of fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints and specifications. This may involve measuring, cutting, and threading pipes, as well as assembling and securing components.
Work is away from home most of the time Monday - Friday could be days or nights and sometimes weekends.
10-hour days. Monday Friday
Weekends double time.
