Summary

Are you a looking to start your career in Local Government Finance? We are looking for talented and ambitious individuals who are interested in a new career in Finance to join our team.

Working alongside a small team of Finance professionals, you will assist in a range of financial activities and contribute to the provision of financial advice, information, and support to our clients. PSPS will continue to provide ongoing training and continued personal development, we even cover the price of the qualification, provide support, and time off for exams.



Typical duties will be:

Processing income transactions
Scanning, filing and logging account documents
Perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested
Collect and enter data for various financial systems and spreadsheets


If you possess the following skills and attributes we would love to hear from you:-

Four GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths and English
Actively studying or looking to study AAT
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and financial systems
Great communications skills
The ability to adapt to changing demands and tasks

PSPS (Public Sector Partnership Services) is a Local Authority Trading Company (LATCo) which is wholly owned by East Lindsey District Council, South Holland District Council and Boston Borough Council. The Company operates from its offices in Spalding, Boston, and Horncastle. The Company provides a range of services including Human Resources & Payroll, Financial Services, Procurement & Contracts, ICT (Information and Communications Technology) & Digital, Customer Contact, Revenues & Benefits, Health & Safety, and a range of Corporate Support services.

The Company primarily delivers these services to its three client Councils, in support of the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership (S&ELCP), across the Company itself and externally to a resident population of approximately 305,000 across the geographical boundaries of South Holland, East Lindsey and Boston.
