Summary
The Governors of St James C E Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated
School Administrative Assistant to assist with administrative support within the school offices.
The successful applicant will work in a very busy office and have the ability to work under
pressure and be flexible at all times.
They will be required to carry out duties including:
The administration for Off-Site, After School Activities, Extra Curricular Activities, Music Tuition, booking events, services and transport.
Receiving goods, checking delivery notes, processing orders on Access (Schools Financial Management System).
Data input within Arbor, ParentPay, Tali (Fund Manager) and Access. Reception, telephone and general administrative duties will also be required, which will include liaison and electronic communication with pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
The appointee will be expected to train in other administrative tasks as required in order to
provide cover in the case of absence. In addition, the post holder will be trained as an appointed
First Aider and record incidents accurately on Medical Tracker.
