Exciting Opportunity: Group Facilitator

Are you experienced, skilled, and passionate about making a meaningful difference? We're seeking a Group Facilitator to engage with individuals using our service in Southwark, ensuring they receive personalised interventions that cater to their unique needs

Our Southwark service comprises a dynamic and diverse team, including service managers, consultant psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, healthcare assistants, recovery staff, volunteers, administrators, and peer mentors. Collaboratively, we are dedicated to delivering the highest quality support and interventions for individuals utilising our services.

Where: Southwark
Hours: 37.5hrs per week
Salary: £27,449.53 - £31,529.41 dependent on experience, pro rata
Allowances: £4072.06 Inner London Weighting pro rata
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st of March 2025

About the Role:

Contribute to researching, designing, and preparing subject matter and materials for groups/pods.
Deliver targeted interventions to reduce harm from substances like GHB, Crystal Methamphetamine, and non-opiate/opiate drugs.
Participate in debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitator/s after groups/pods have taken place.
Take the lead on graduation events for individuals who have completed the programme.
Analyse service user feedback and make adjustments as necessary.
Customise specific workshops around the needs of the individuals, such as anger management, sleep disorders, relationships.

To thrive in this role, we welcome individuals who embody:

Rich experience in working with groups/pods and adeptly managing group dynamics, including conflict or challenging behaviour.
Proficiency in Motivational Interviewing and Psycho-Social Intervention.
An understanding of evidence-based interventions in a group work setting.
While advantageous, a qualification in counselling, group-work, or equivalent is not essential; your unique experiences and commitment matter most to us.
