Summary
The Victoria Theatre is one of Yorkshire’s Arts venues and sits within Public Services of Calderdale Council. We strive to deliver a varied arts and entertainment programme with professional artists, local Amateur Dramatic Society’s and Community groups.
The Victoria Theatre is looking for highly motivated people to join the Box Office team. The successful applicants will be a part of a team selling tickets and providing administrative support for the development of the box office service in a large receiving house
Suitable candidates will have experience of working with the public (both in person and on the telephone) in a deadline driven, customer facing environment as well as good computer skills and excellent communication and customer service skills.
Candidates must be able to work during the week, evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays as required.
We a are looking to expand our Casual Box Office Team to maintain a high personal level of customer care for Victoria Theatre Customers. To ensure that all identified administrative duties are undertaken to ensure a smooth running of the Box Office service.
The ideal candidate will need to have the essential skills below
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Working with the public both in person and on the telephone,
• Good computer skills, particularly with the use of Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Cash handling, use of credit/debit cards and cashing up
• Grade C, Level 2 in English & Mathematics or demonstrate experience
• Experience of a working Box Office would be advantageous.
• To be able to work evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays along with weekday shifts as and when required.
