My client is looking for an Deputy Manager to join theiri experienced care team/
The Role
• Assist the Registered Manager to ensure the home environment is appropriate and sensitive to the needs of the child or young person being looked after and is compliant with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and the Quality Standards for Children’s Homes.
• Act as the Home Manager in the absence of the Registered Manager through vacancy, sickness, annual leave or other absence periods
• Work collaboratively and co-operate willingly to ensure optimum delivery of day to day care
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with parents and other family members; social workers; school staff and other professionals with a concern for the children’s needs such as general practitioners or psychologists.
• Attend and contribute to child care planning and review meetings as appropriate.
Successful Candidate will:
• Be positive and passionate in all aspects of the care process
• 2 years’ experience within childcare
• Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
• Desire to continue training and development
