Reward Partner Caledonian Sleeper: GlasgowPermanent/ Full time Monday
- Friday Hybrid office based 2/3 days per weekCompetitive salary plus benefits Caledonian Sleeper (CSL) has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Reward Partner to join the HR Team based in Glasgow.
It is a great time to become part of the HR team as we shape our new HR operating model, systems, and practices. You will have the opportunity to influence and shape our reward strategy following the transition across to Scottish Rail HoldingsThe Reward Partner is a new role which will lead on developing and managing the implementation of Reward policies, procedures, and processes, which includes pay, reward, benefits, and performance. This role will support the Head of HR and the broader business at Caledonian Sleeper.
Main Accountabilities:


- Lead on the development and delivery of CSL Reward strategy
- Lead and manage key reward projects, such as developing new reward policies and procedures, shaping CSL pay guidelines
- Develop and implement CSL job families, pay and career frameworks
- Conduct salary benchmarking exercises to support business decisions developing salary scales, whilst providing regular insight and analytics
- Act as the Reward Partner across the wider business to ensure consistency and compliance in processes and procedures
- Manage the annual Pay Review process
- Lead on CSL Remuneration Committee and submissions
- Review and on-going management of employee benefits, including pensions
- Monitor and advise on requirements related to Public Sector Pay Policy
- Carry out job evaluations for any new roles
- Research and prepare regular reports, compiles metrics for analysis as needed
- Lead on Gender Pay Reporting for CSL
- Supplier Management for Fleet and Occupational Health

- Relevant HR qualification
- Experience with salary frameworks, job evaluation principles, compensation, and benefits with up-to-date market knowledge
- Must be able to translate business strategy and objectives into reward design
- You will be confident working with HR Systems, Excel and other Microsoft Office packages and will have a strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate/interpret complex data and evaluate information objectively
- Strong written communication and presentation skills
- Experienced at Supplier Management
- A flexible team player with a high level of initiative
- Understanding of HR policies and procedures
- Capable of working on own projects and take responsibility of own workload
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a varied workload
- Good organisational skills to ensure deadlines are achieved
- Flexible Mindset
- Ability to create, build and maintain relationships with internal key stakeholders
- Willing and able to travel on occasion where appropriate
