Summary
MMA Care is a newly established care provider which will provide person-centred care to an individual adult in his own home. The person has Adult Learning Disabilities with complex needs. You will be part of a small team working together ensuring that the delivery of care meets high standards at all levels. This includes;

· Responsive care
Main Duties:
To assist with personal care which includes support with showering, dressing, Oral hygiene. Assist with toileting.
Administration of medication
Meal planning and cooking whilst adhering to religious beliefs and ensuring that the person we support is included and encouraged to take part where possible.
Competent documenting of care provision and care plans
To liaise with the multi-professional team and family
To assist with daily finances, personal correspondence
Light domestic duties which include cleaning, washing and ironing
Required Skills:
Good communication verbal and written
Empathy and compassion
Patience and understanding
Flexibility and adaptability
Work on own initiative where required
Willingness to learn and undertake continuing professional development
Salary starts at £13.50 per hour this is dependent on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time permanent and Relief posts
Various posts available from 25-40 hrs per week
Education:
SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred however if you are caring reliable and flexible we will recruit on values and transferable skills
Moving and Handling
Experience
previous experience in a caregiving role either professionally or in a personal capacity is desirable
Full driving licence preferred but not essential
Clear PVG (required)
The right to work in the UK is Essential however please note we are not able to employ the visa sponsorship scheme.
Registration with SSSC within six months of employment.
