Due to expansion within the current team our client is looking for a small animal or mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join them at their stunning new hospital situated in a town in East Yorkshire that boasts stunning coastal scenery, a charming Old Town, making it a quintessential seaside destination with a rich blend of history and natural beauty.

The purpose-built hospital has amazing facilities including a CT scanner, an ultrasound and endoscopy room, 3 surgical theatres - with dedicated laparoscopic and orthopaedic theatres, and our dental suite with dental X-ray. They also have a hydrotherapy pool and underwater treadmill and offer an in-house rehabilitation and pain management service providing laser therapy, acupuncture, and physiotherapy for pain relief and muscle maintenance. The hospital's innovative design has earned it a nomination for a prestigious practice award.

You will be stepping into a vibrant veterinary family - a dynamic, highly experienced, and welcoming large veterinary team with Certificate holders in diagnostic imaging and small animal practice, along with vets undertaking certificates in surgery, medicine, and diagnostic imaging, a Post Graduate Diploma in veterinary physiotherapy. They also have the expertise of a visiting orthopaedic consultant, allowing them to keep the vast majority of their orthopaedic work in-house.

The practice is situated in a coastal East Yorkshire escape, where stunning beaches, a charming Old Town, and iconic landmarks await. Convenient transport links make this seaside gem easily accessible; it is a delightful town enriched with natural beauty, history, and easy travel.

The Rota:
• Full-time, working 4 days a week with flexibility
• Flexibility on shifts to suit you with a mix of an inpatient shift, an operating shift, and a consulting shift
• No OOH
• 1:4 weekend rota working towards making this 1:5 with 2 days off following a weekend
• Very occasionally Saturday morning 8.30am - 12.30pm
