Role and Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEND.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to the academic, social, and emotional development of all students.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure the holistic well-being of students.
- Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and contribute to the ongoing assessment and review process.
- Maintain regular communication with parents, carers, and external agencies as necessary to support student progress.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Previous experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) is required.
- Strong understanding of SEND strategies, interventions, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches to accommodate diverse learning needs and styles.
