The Role: • Lead daily prayers including Friday prayer • Teach children The Holy Quran (age 6-13 years) • Provide Islamic education through different means i.e. sermons, lectures, pastoral care, study circles and weekend retreats, etc.
• Network and engage with the local community to raise the profile of Jamia Masjid & Madrassa Faizul Quran Ghousia

* Work with other Mosques and Islamic institutions to improve coordination and cooperation
* Attend staff and management meetings and training as and when required Essential Requirements:
* Good Qur'an recitation skills are required
• Experience in leading prayers
• Fundamental and in-depth knowledge about Salah and its pre-conditions
* Passionate about raising achievement and providing the best possible Islamic education for all
* Ability to work on own initiative and identify new opportunities • Ability to relate well to young people and adults
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Good standard of IT skills
* Participate in ongoing training for continued professional development (Organisational & professional)
* Self-motivated, organised, and professional
Desirable skills: • Successfully completed Master Degree In Islamic Studies or a similar Islamic course
• Successfully completed Hifz course
* Successfully completed Tajweed course Benefits:

Hours of work: This role involves a flexible working pattern including evening and weekend duties.
Pay: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
