Summary

Would you like to work with a motivated and well-established team to deliver key interventions to young people with drug and alcohol misuse needs?

The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and committed individual to join our New Beginnings service in Cheshire West and Chester, working with a supportive and friendly multidisciplinary team of clinical and non-clinical professionals.

This rewarding and exciting role will be key in ensuring that effective, efficient and appropriate care is planned, and managed, well for people who use our services and that this care achieves a positive impact to the recovery of the individual.

The role will include significant travel and peripatetic outreach including into fixed youth provision settings in the evening (for example youth centres).

You will:
• Undertake early-intervention and prevention work in a variety of youth settings to prevent the progression of substance misuse and associated anti-social and risk-taking behaviour, including sexual exploitation.
• Enable young people to develop healthy boundaries, emotional resilience and build self-esteem, providing harm reduction prevention advice, guidance and education.
• Enable people to access education, employment, health, wellbeing and recovery activities - promoting a culture of positive occupation of time.
• Work alongside the Early Help and Prevention Service in Cheshire West and Chester - engaging with the wider youth service team and other stakeholder.
• Support the day-to-day delivery of excellent drug and alcohol services to service users and their significant others, including family members friends and carers.

There is an expectation the successful candidate will need to work across our three service hubs, the wider North-West, as well as occasional travel to our head office in London.

To see the generous range of benefits we offer at Via including 30 days annual leave for all new starters, our health and wellbeing initiatives, financial perks and development opportunities – visit our Benefits Package
