Summary
NAS Recruitment have current vacancies for Yard Operatives in Newmains, with immediate starts available.
This role will involve operating a jet wash to assist with the cleaning of tracks and associated materials. Please note the role can involve heavy lifting and will involve working outside for large parts of the day. Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial, though not mandatory, as full training is required. Suitable candidates will also ideally have their own transport due to the site’s location.
Hours of work are from 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday, with 1 hour for lunch break.
The rate of pay for this role is £11.60 per hour Monday to Friday, with enhanced rates for any weekend overtime (though this is not mandatory).
