Are you ready to elevate our global QHSE standards? At ONYX, we're looking for an experienced SHEQ Manager to enhance our quality, health, safety, and environmental systems. This is your chance to make a significant impact in the renewable energy sector.
In this role, you'll be our go-to expert for QHSE management, responsible for updating and streamlining our policies and procedures. You'll maintain and review our Risk Register, lead successful external audits, and conduct internal audits while addressing non-conformances. Reporting KPIs to our leadership team will be a key part of your responsibilities, as well as overseeing incident reporting and investigations.
Supporting operational teams at the project level, promoting our Safety Observation Card program, and supporting our Mental Health First Aider network are also important aspects of the role. You'll manage Sharepoint communications, lead our Safety Committee consultations, and build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment with our systems.
We're looking for someone with a certificate or diploma in a relevant field, strong knowledge of legal and compliance requirements, and experience with ISO standards (including 14001). You should be a practical and strategic thinker, a clear communicator with excellent writing skills, and have experience managing subcontractor and supply chain risk.
Proficiency with business systems and applications is essential, and you'll need to be able to work three days a week from our Nottingham office.
