Summary
TeacherActive is working closely with a specialist College based in central Bournemouth. The college has a brilliant and comprehensive support system for both day and residential placements. The college is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate ICT Teacher to join their team of talented educators. They need to be able to deliver courses to students with different learning abilities. It is vital that the ICT Teacher has a compassionate approach to education, to fit the needs of students with SEND background. They need to be able to monitor and support with the progress and development of learners. They need to have strong knowledge of A-Level Computer Science and Cyber-security and effectively use different learning materials to deliver lessons to a wide range of learners
Successful ICT Teacher will have:
• Recognised teaching qualification – QTS/QTLS/Level 5 DET
• Degree Level Qualification in relevant subject or something equivalent
• Knowledge of learning disabilities and/or special needs relevant to the establishment (SEND)
• Knowledge of ICT Curriculum up to and including A Level Computer Science and Industry-based qualification
