It is advisable to refer to this when submitting your application for the post.Job PurposeTo support young man with social activitiesLocationAttleborough, NR17DetailsI am a 22 year old man who is autistic and I have ADHD/SLD. I am active and able to enjoy many activities but need a friendly Personal Assistant who shares my interests to support me and ensure I am safe. My communication skills are limited but I am verbal. I really like going out to eat, Bowling, and theme parks, and I also enjoy the ‘Fuse’ disco at the Waterfront. My PA also needs to be a dog lover, and a driver would be preferable (if over 25 can potentially be added to insurance for Motability vehicle).Person specification· Well organised and Dog friendly· Some knowledge/experience with Autism· Flexible and available for evening/weekend work· Shared interestsSummary terms and conditions· The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour· Hours and times of work: 8 hours weekly at flexible times depending on activities and availability· 5.6 weeks per year pro-rata paid leave, inclusive of bank holidays· Free Careskills TrainingThe post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months
