A vacancy has arisen for the role of Pathway Co-ordinator within the Oncology Team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton (UHDB).

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team player with excellent communication & problem solving skills. You will require high levels of tact and diplomacy with the ability to prioritise your own workload effectively to enable day to day management. You will be working alongside a number of consultants and various other clinical staff.

Working for a Team of Consultants, you will need to be an enthusiastic and motivated team player with excellent communication & problem solving skills. You will require high levels of tact, diplomacy with the ability to prioritise your own workload effectively to enable day to day management in a fast-paced environment.

You will need to have keyboard skills, ability to work well in a team and have a pleasant disposition.

To administratively co-ordinate and support with the admin team within the department, manage outpatient appointments, to ensure efficient patient pathways and supporting with training and development.

It is essential that all applicants have a sound and thorough understanding of Lorenzo's functionalities and significant experience of its application within the outpatient environment.

You must also have a comprehensive understanding of outpatient administrative processes, a thorough knowledge of the 18 week RTT pathway and the Trust's Patient Access Policy.
