Summary

We are looking for a Mini Bus Driver. This is an exciting opportunity to join Park House School and become an integral member of the support team. As a Trust of schools, we are ‘Always Learning’.Main responsibilities:Driving the school vehicle on routes and times determined by the schoolResponsible for the safety, comfort and welfare of the studentsTo operate safely, driving within legal limitationsRepresent the school well by parking appropriately, respecting other road users and pedestrians and not obstructing trafficCarry out drivers daily and weekly checks and basic maintenanceReport any vehicles defects, faults, incidents and accidentsBe responsible for cleanliness of vehicles, inside and outRefuel vehicles as requiredMaintain accurate records of vehicle usageMaintain accurate records of the students using the serviceMaintain and help to promotes a good school image, working attire should be worn at all times and kept in a clean and tidy conditionEnsure the vehicle is left secure when unattendedTo adhere to all relevant Health and Safety policies and proceduresAttend relevant training course as identified and agreed to include First Aid and Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (MiDAS)You will need:Hold a clean, current and valid driving license D1 unrestricted or a PSV license, D1 restricted (car license obtained prior to 01/01/1997) consideredCapability to maintain accurate recordsCompetent to undertake daily and weekly vehicle checks and carry out basic maintenanceWilling to undertake additional trainingPleasant and approachable personalityAble to keep calm and in control of studentsReliable and trustworthySensitive to user needsFlexible approach to working arrangementsWhat's in it for you:Professional development and career progressionGenerous pension schemeAn Employee Assistance ProgramGym DiscountsFree eye testsCycle to work schemeGreen car schemeBeing part of a great team and expanding organisationPlease download the recruitment pack for further information.Closing date for receipt of applications is 7th of June.
