Summary

Position: Part Time Premises Officer School: St Denys Church of England Infant School, Ibstock Salary: Grade 7 Point 11. Equivalent = £12.80 per hour. (Full time annual salary = £24,708. This will be paid on a pro-rata basis.)Contract: Part Time- 15 hours a week, 52 weeks a year. Monday -Thursday 3.00pm-6.00pm Friday 2.30-5.30pm
Closing date for applications: Friday 21st June 2024 (9.00am) Interviews: Week beginning Monday 1st July 2024Job Purpose: a) To undertake responsibility for the supervision of the site and the maintenance and security of the buildings. b) Contribute to the provision of high-quality maintenance, security and cleanliness of the school buildings and grounds which ensures that students have a comfortable, clean, safe and well-maintained environment in which to work or otherwise use the school facilities. What we are looking for: We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and flexible premises officer to be responsible for the maintenance, security and cleanliness of the school building and grounds to ensure that staff, and children have a comfortable, clean, safe and well-maintained environment in which to work and learn. The successful candidate should: • Be someone who will be as proud of our school as we are and who is willing to work with us to continually improve and develop our site. • Be positive, enthusiastic, forward thinking and have a dynamic mindset • Be flexible and adaptable to change • Be open to new challenges • Be organised and have good inter-personal and communication skills. • Be able to use their own initiative but also work as a team leader and member • Be able to prioritise work and work well under pressure. • Be keen to undertake professional development and contribute new ideas • Have previous experience of working in a similar role, along with a knowledge of health and safety and an ability to carry out repairs and maintenance as required.
