Your new company
Due to the partnership between Hays and Birmingham City Council, we are looking for a Project Support Officer to join the Employment Team. Your new role
As a Project Support Officer, you will engage with multiple stakeholders and coordinate various project activities. You will organise and prepare materials for Board meetings (meeting packs, agendas, invitations). Working as a Project Support Officer, you will also organise training and workshops for staff members within the Council. You will occasionally provide administrative support to other programmes within the Council.This job offers hybrid working, with the expectation to work at least 2 days at the Council House. You will be based in a central office, with various transport links.


What you'll need to succeed
This role is looking for candidates with a background in project coordination. More specifically, successful candidates will need:

  • Strong stakeholder and communication skills
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint experience
  • Familiarity with HR, staff training or reviewing job descriptions
  • Preparation of financial reports (ideal)

The role will be an ASAP start, which before starting you will need to pass your reference and compliance checks. On registration, please have your 2 most recent employment details available for reference checks.
