Position: 1-1 Care Worker for Child Location: Birmingham Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one care and support to a child with specific needs, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Assist with daily activities, including personal care, feeding, and mobility.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and the child's family.
• Engage the child in stimulating and therapeutic activities to promote their development and well-being.
• Monitor and report on the child's progress and any changes in their condition.
• Maintain a positive and supportive relationship with the child and their family.
• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment at all times.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs.
• Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to the child's changing needs.
• First aid certification is desirable.
