Our Dermatology Department is looking for someone who is caring and compassionate, dedicated and motivated. A person who enjoys new
challenges each day and would embrace the training and the new skills that come with this role. You will be the type of person that has a keen eye for detail, have good communication and interpersonal skills and be flexible. You will need to be able to use own initiative, able to work in a team or on your own and demonstrate excellent patient care to ensure our patients and families have an excellent experience.

You will be hard working, enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable. You will be keen to develop knowledge of the various clinics, and you will have the opportunities to have training and development. Our clinics include a wide range of Dermatology treatments, including biopsies, minor ops, photo therapy and patch testing.

Full training, education and support will be given to you to enable you to gain the skills that will ensure that you integrate well with the team and development will be an ongoing requirement of the role.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Provide good quality personalised care in accordance with agreed local and national standards
• Take observations from patients
• Undertake clinical duties relevant to clinical area following achievement of competencies
• Assist to maintain patient safety, conforming to health, safety and security legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines
• Assist in maintaining standards of care to improve the patient experience and outcome of care
• Promote equality in care and practice by recognising, respecting and meeting the needs and choices of individuals
• Contribute to maintaining safe, clean, and productive care environment, compliant with standards for hygiene and cleanliness.
• Maintain and develop own competence
• Actively try to resolve issues and complaints at local level and then report the outcome to line manager.
• undertake any training/skills deemed appropriate

**Candidates shortlisted for interview must provide original certificates for both Maths & English (GCSE grade C or above OR Functional Skills Level 2) and have an NVQ Level 2 in Health or equivalent. If you currently work within LTHTR as a band 2 healthcare assistant and have 12 months minimum experience as well as GCSE maths and English (or equivalent) then you are welcome to apply.Failure to provide these certificates willconditional offer of employment being withdrawn.**
