Summary

Full time, Fixed Term (Maternity Cover from 2 September 2024)

Applications are invited for the post of Academic Adviser (maternity cover) in the Directorate of Student Life: Disability & Neurodiversity team.

The role will work alongside the team of Academic Advisers in supporting students with disabilities at the University. We have seen an increase in the number of neurodivergent students, so a large part of the role will involve providing one to one study skills support which will require the post holder to meet the DfE mandatory requirements to deliver DSA funded support. The role also includes carrying out Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) screenings and delivering a range of workshops to staff and students.
